Mojo struct

StableAddr

struct StableAddr

Identifies a stable address slot.

A slot is a graph-lifetime location in device memory holding one device data pointer. The slot's own address never changes, so a recorded graph may bake it in; its contents are the value the graph most recently replayed through DeviceGraph.replay_collective() published with DeviceGraphBuilder.place_stable(). A view over a slot must therefore read the data pointer when it is used rather than when it is constructed; see StableTensor in the extensibility package.

Both pointer layers are device addresses. The slot lives in device memory so that graphs on other devices can read it, and it holds a device data pointer. Neither layer may be dereferenced on the host.

Fieldsโ€‹

  • โ€‹ptr (Pointer[Pointer[NoneType, MutUntrackedOrigin], ImmUntrackedOrigin]): Device address of the slot; the slot holds the device data pointer.

Implemented traitsโ€‹

AnyType, Copyable, Deinitable, ImplicitlyCopyable, Movable, RegisterPassable, TrivialRegisterPassable
