max.tensor.sharding.per_shard_dim.global_dim(d)

Folds a PerShardDim into a single global Dim.

Returns d unchanged when it is not a PerShardDim, the wrapper’s recorded global when it has one, and otherwise the sum of the per-shard cells.

Parameters:

d (Dim) – The dim to fold.

Return type:

Dim
