max.pipelines.lib.module_registration.supports_pipeline_stages(module_cls)
Returns whether a registered decoder builds as pipeline stages.
A decoder that sets supports_pipeline_stages builds the layers of the
stage its config carries. On a stage after the first it starts from
stage_boundary,
and on a stage before the last it returns the tree it hands the next
stage in place of its outputs.
