fp8_p_bias

def fp8_p_bias[fp8_p: Bool](threshold: Float32) -> Float32

Returns the log2 of the scale applied to P before its fp8 conversion.

Parameters:

• ​fp8_p (Bool): Whether P is converted to fp8 before the P@V MMA.

Args:

• ​threshold (Float32): The configured lazy-rescale threshold, in the log2 domain.

Returns:

Float32: 8 + fp8_p_rescale_threshold(threshold) when fp8_p is True, else 0.
